im trying to make a 'nickname hijacker' by using quick text. my idea is that i want to get it to to make it look like the other person in the convo has said something when they haven't. so far i have got:

(!N) says:
<enter text here>

this is good but it comes up with this when used: (BTW. Mr. Brightside is my screen name)

Mr. Brightside says:
<name of second person in convo> says:
<entered text>

if you use /me at the begining of the quick text it put it all up onto one line and into purple writing. so i tried to make the /me bit white by using ctrl+K in the quick text which didnt work. i can get the effect i want by typing in the convo box:

/nick (!N)

which replaces my name for thier's and if i want to go back to my name, i have to type it in again which is annoying. can anyone help me?

You would have to hook winsock and change the text from your nick name to the contact your talking to.

You could use Messenger Discovery's Imitate Feature.

anyway:
1. dl & install StuffPlug-NG (www.stuffplug.com)
2. Make a quicktext with the following:
/xchatname (!N)
#(!P)
#/xchatname <nothing here for default nick or something else u'd like>
3. /<name of command here> <message>
4. enjoy!

i got it working using !imitate from the msn addon "MSN Discovery" (cheers stigmata) dicovery is quite kool.
