Hey guys, the old versions also works with WLM.

It has to do with the Version checker in the new Messenger & Plus!

Cuzz you're not alowed to run WLM in the first place, so Msg Plus! will not allow you to run it.

It's Handy and i know that it's true since that Msg Plus! & MSN cooperates it should stay that way.

Besides.. The old Messenger Plus Beta (3.60) dus also work with the WLM (but it install under the name 3.45)!

There is already a thread about it running on Windows Live Messenger : (http://shoutbox.menthix.net/showthread.php?tid=55...d=601369#pid601369) also its not recommend to run Messenger Plus! with Windows Live Messenger as it may cause problems.

This is very old news and most features to not work. I only got boss protection to work

that doens't make much sense . These are 2 totally different programs. MSN Messenger is from Microsoft but Messenger Plus! has got nothing to do with Microsoft what so ever.

The reason that the latest Plus! doesn't work with Windows Live Messenger is because of the way it hooks to MSN Messenger. This is different in Windows Live Messenger. Appearently some older version of Plus! can hook to it because of the way they hook to MSN Messenger. That way is different in the latest Plus! version. But it obviously doesn't hook very well. Most features don't work and even those that do work don't work they way they are intended to work. Therefor you're advised not to use the older version of Plus! with Windows Live Messenger.
