hi there ,
new guy here need some help  .i downloaded windows defender beta2  a friend told me about messenger plus ,so tried to download plus and windows defender started flashing like mad with a high security alert
telling me if i continued would be harmful to my pc ..
can anyone help me please ,as am not very technical minded ...so any help would be appreciated ..

Windows Defender detects the optional sponsor software that is contained within Messenger Plus!. Messenger Plus! itself is not harmful in anyway. During installating simply press "I refuse, do not install the sponsor program", when you get to the relevant page. If you do this, the sponsor software will not be installed .
