Whenever I make a thread its usually an incredibly stupid question but one which is bugging me. This is just like today.

The file names have suddenly gone missing from the 'my pictures' folder. I haven't a clue what I did to make this happen. Pictures in other folders for example have retained their name and it shows up.

If i change my pictures to 'icon's or 'tiles' its fine...but yet the name of the file goes whenever its in 'thumbnail' view.

This sounds an absurd question i know but its just incredibly annoying and stupid. So if anyone has any idea you will become the hero of the day.

what happens when yu right click on the pictures?

does the name come up in properties?

yep it comes up on the properties. it comes up everywhere except for when in thumbnail view. its the most stupidest problem ever.

i can survive it but its just incredibly frustrating...
