O.P. Help! Can I get Messenger to notify me when SPECIFIC contacts log in?
I know you can set it to popup EVERYONE logging in, but what if I am waiting for ONE person to log in...can I set people individually???

In contact list:

Right click the contact
Messenger Plus! Extras
Notifications...
Then you see this dialog where you can set it:

that's not a bug, thats an unexpected feature

Except....Contact Signs-in is always greyed out :(

Unset the notifications in MSNM itself (tools > options > alerts and sounds) ;)

In the Preferences window, go to Notifications and Popup Defaults and enable the Custom Sign-in Notifications.
