Really up to Patchou. You see he would love to release a beta to everyone, keep everyone happy and make money. But if there is some serious issues to tackle then people may judge the reliablity of the program. You see it is very popular and if something serious caused damage to your computer it could end the program

I've become an Email from Support, because I had a problem with messenger and they say, i should wait a month, because the messenger becomes out of the beta phase.

I think April comes the Final version of WLM

what was the point in posting that ?

beta release would not kill messenger plus TBH even if it was buggy

at end of the day messenger plus became known thru word of mouth. i no i've passed it on and even hosted a copy of it on my web server at one stage providing it to over 300 friends + lol  99% of people on my msn didnt even hear of it and would use it until tabbed convo's became part of it

which i done a report on with screens etc on my site when it was first properly released

i end up as first line support on msn i dunno which is worst. 1st line support at work are at home lol.


leave this beta private when its successful enought realease beta to more people via invites or something seen as that is how things are going these days lol

at end of it i just posted this because i hate waiting.

PS weres the screenshots of this beta they'd be nice if patchou would let www.mess.be to new post about it or put it on the plus live site as a small taster

Patchous would have to take care of that himself... The beta testers agreed that they wouldn't disclose any information about MP!L without Patchou's consent.

hmm isn't a nice idea perhaps to release this beta also to forum members orso?? i can remember patch 1's did think kind of stuff i tihnk it was with msn 6.2 --> 7.0 patchou did release a beta version to the genuine people (he did added a "note" that it was BETA matterial)

and on the other hand...

most BETA testers are not dumb msn sl*ts wich MSN all day long, they got into WLM for a reason, so releasing plus to those folks.. would't be mcuh fo a problem would it? (just add a restriction so only plus! for WLM works on the almost good for all peepz aka WLM 8.0 build 566, wich is free to use for any body (they went into public beta testing so no more invites are needed if you use the 566 build, if you use a older build remove that version first, installation of 566 can be *troublesome* if not uninstalling....

Patchou did release a public beta of Messenger Plus! 3.61 (I think it was.) Now the reason this version is a closed beta is because it is very buggy and written from scratch.
