Lol, i hope you don't damage your computer or your powersupply by doing that..

And about the popup, you'll need a chip and have to program it with the name, identifier, etc... Not as cheap as you like it to be i guess

I think it only cools the processor :P
And you can't power a whole fridge, since a USB port has only 5V, which is great to make Christmas Lights for your laptop (I did it, and I had also posted screenshots :P)
YouTube closed-captions ripper (also allows you to download videos!)

well...

1stly the fridge is out of cardboard (found it in my cellar)

2ndly i will post some pics of it tomorrow so you know the size.

3rdly this is only a laph this is not really serius.

4thly if you cant wait untis 2morrow its about 40 cm wide and 20 long.

EDIT: you can cool everything that would fit in it.  it even has a little light in there! :p (it isnt very affective but still fun!) (cools about 6 C less than around about it.)

EDIT EDIT (or something like that) DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!!!! I WAS MESSING ABOUT WITH THE USB POWER AND IT GAVE ME A ELECTRIC SHOCK!!!!!

True.. 5v is nothing.. 50,000 volts is nothing. All voltage will do is give you a nice shock and remind you its there.. Its the amperage (current) running through your body that kills you. USB is only capable of around 500milliamps, Which isnt really that much, and probably isnt enough to relly do anything through your skin.. unless maybe your standing in a bucket of salty water.

Remember kids, it's the Volts that jolt, but the Mills that kill.
[milliamps..  unit of current that rhymes with kill]

Find out more [here], I'm not sure about how accurate that info is, but its approximatly right.

If you were changing a fan, I doubt it was USB. USB ONLY applies to the silver rectangualar ports on your pc.. if you were changing a fan it was probably some other internal connection, either to a fan header or a molex connector.
