A 12 V fan might work, you're pushing your luck though though.

If it doesn't work (likely), and you really want to use that fan, you could try giving it a push start, though it probably won't work.

This is a great idea and I have been keeping a close watch on it. lol I think I'm going to try and make one but have a seperate 12V source so I can use 2 chases fans. But USB powers is great lol.
