ok on msn my friend keeps getting this message "Get screen names that suit your mood on http://www.IM-Names.com (it's free)" does any one know how to get rid of it.

its sounds like adware/spyware.
tell your friend to scan his PC with an anti adware/spyware program. that should do the trick

nah, its hitch that should scan his PC if the other person is the one receiving the message, but before you do a scan, check if "IM-Names" is in Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.

Would this be related to this text I noticed on their website?

yeh but see its nt in there add or remove prgrams so there for the help does not help my friend !

I used to have that problem with Block-Checker but I just removed it.

yeh with a zip file from the website but theres nothing there that i can see but that still dont solve the problem because its kind of different

ive unistalled that im-names but the messages keep coming up help me plz! What do I do?

first open WINDOWS TASK MANAGER (ctrl+alt+del) then click on PROCESSES. now look for something called 'IM-svr.exe' click on it then then END PROCESS.

now go to your program files folder and delete IM-names folder, and your done!
