what is msn email beta?
Is it worth getting?

MSN email beta, which is actually called Windows Live Mail is a new look to Hotmail. But no just a new look, few more features have been added to it and it is quite customizable

do ya have to download it?

No, you don't need to download it. It's a website, just like Hotmail.

It works in the same way, and at the same url, as hotmail itself but it has quite a bit of new features, it has a new look, and it's a beta so it has many bugs as well.

When you go to check your Hotmail, it will look like it does in the screenshot that Chris4 posted.

Beware that it only works properly in Internet Explorer. For any other browser, a classic view of Windows Live Mail is available. The classic view has fewer features, even less than regular Hotmail.

HMMM.....might be worth getting when the actuall real version comes out....just as .lou said there are many bugs in BETAs

I havent noticed any bugs tiil now. Its been a moth that ive been using Windows Live Mail

People often talk about buggy beta versions. However, bugs in beta versions (from renowned companys) don't occur that often. In fact, only hardcore user find these bugs. I say, the hell with bugs! Just use the damnedtoeternity thingy.
