Hello

I have a big problem. I have loosing anyone on WLM.
I have only installed MSG+

I have only unrar MSGPlusLiveByCookieRevised.rar, aunch MSGPlusLiveByCookieRevised.exe and open WLM to finish the installation and now everyone is loosed.

What must I do now to solve this problem ?

You downloaded Plus! from a source other than the official one. What you downloaded is a virus...there is no official release of Msg Plus!Live yet.

Messenger Plus! Live is not released yet. Anything you find on the web like that FAKE and are malicious programs.

Please do NOT, never ever, download from other sites than the official sites (http://www.msgplus.net and http://www.msgpluslive.net).

There is nothing we can do about the loss of your contacts, sorry. I advise to remove the fake version and scan your computer for virusses and spyware.



Personal note: the name of the file is clear proof that someone out there is trying to give Messenger Plus! a bad name. Not to mention that this file is clear proof that some people (connected to the msgsshit forum, no doubt seeing the recent events) clearly wants to try to give me a bad name also. (I'm actually honored as that means I had an impact on that person and I'm on his mind. ROFLOL...)

Would that be a fake messenger, adn that no one is loosed but actually you are working on the program that doesn't connect to msn servers rather it sends you password and username to some other source and open a blank contact list just to trick you!!??

in anycase change your password, no one knows what have this program did with your login information.

The remove it as cookie said, and search for the real wlm program and run it.

i meant in case my description was right . because years ago fake messengers were available, and i thought there might be some more advanced version now. under the name of msgplus, but it rather replace the whole thing.

Read the many other threads about the fake Messenger Plus! versions, they are all over the forum (almost). Or even simply click and read the big yellow banner on the forum's main page which also tells about the malicious versions circulating around. Or follow the link posted by SunShine...

All in all, please read something before posting stuff which confuses the original posters, especially in such critical topics.

Note it says MSGPlusLiveBy not WLMBy wich is the first thing to indicate that this is not a standalone program (IM Client)

they pretend it is msgplus, or actually they are marketing their malicious program under the name of msgplus live because people really want it, but it might not be a fake version of msgplus, i can be whatever program that runs within or replace wlm.
