Why can't we sort by reputation yet DZ?

i remember this question being asked, i believe the answer was, because its not a competition to get the most reps

the basic reason for the reps and why they are still there are this:

1. the repuation system is to recognize people that have done good on this forum, not who is the most popular.
2. WDZ said it took too long to code for him to just "remove it"
