O.P. Nicknames In Different Languages
I've noticed that some people can type there nicknames in other languages and other people can actually view them in other languages.
1. How can I properly view their nicknames that are partially in other languages?
2. How can I type a nickname in another language?
I'd really like to know. Thanks.

Typing in Frecnh(Français) is simple - 'Je parle Français'.
German(Deutsch)- Ich spreche Deutsches
Spanish(Español )-Hablo español
Chinese(中国)-我不会说中文
*Messenger supports Chinese bt this forum doesnt.
I dont have an idea about other lanuages(i dont understand them) but i think even they can be used.
To translated them use - Google Translation

But for some reason I can't always view chinese characters though. Sometimes they appear as boxes and lines in MSN Messenger. How do I change that so that I can properly view them? I'm currently using MSN Messenger 7.5.

I mean that they're not actual characters, just random stuff like:
[][\ |||... etc.

RE: Nicknames In Different Languages
Sometimes it depends on the languages that you have installed in your computer.
And also if you change the text font in your computer, lets say from Tahoma to Trebuchet MS, some charcters won't even show in your msn list but will/might in the conversation window.

RE: Nicknames In Different Languages
This is a Windows problem, not a messenger one. You'll have to download and run a language pack add-on, the easiest way that I know of is directly through IE

RE: Nicknames In Different Languages
You don't need a language pack add-on: just go into Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Languages and check the two boxes. Hit OK, insert Windows CD when asked, and reboot if asked.
Problem solved ;P
