Yes it can be anything (this is the reason why we always warn not to download/trust software from anywhere but the official site)..but people want Msg Plus!Live on WLM, not a substitute IM Client so i don't think replacing is a possibility here (if it was that they would probably have distributed it as WLM+Plus!Live). What it is is a "program" that will delete your contactlist as soon as you "complete the installation by opening WLM" meaning it will connect to MSN/WLM servers to delete your contacts (might do more than that, who knows what else they've built in, but if you're lucky it's only that). I can't say wether this is a one time thing or if it keeps doing that everytime you sign in as i don't have this program ( i would like to know where this file is obtained from tho...to ghostout: pm me or Cookie the link please).

That's the whole point here..you don't know...if you don't know and see the correct solution is already given why post assumptions etc. to confuse the first poster? If it's solved leave it is the best advice i can give you. Remember it's not about the amount of help given (amount of posts) it's about the quality of the help given...wrong advice, confusing people isn't doing anybody any good and makes solving the problem even harder.
