Well i was wondering if someone could do this..
Like in stuffplug, it used to say someone opened a conversation but it would give alert when someone just clicked on the nick and downloaded dp..

so is there any script or plugin which does the same job, alerts when someone downloads your display picture?

I am also doing some investigation on that.
It seems the script system does not allow dev to parse the MSNP command. If we could get MSNP command, things will be much easier.

I strongly hope that msgpluslive scritpt will allow developers to access the MSNP command directly, if so, many fantastic features will be worked out

i liked it very much..

Display Pictures are always downloaded to your contacts computer (when chatting or whilst viewing the contact card)..no matter if he/she saves it through contact information or not. What this Plus! feature does basicly is grab it from the temp folder like every other CE/DP "stealer" outthere.

In other words...there is no specific interaction between your computer and your contacts when this link is clicked in Plus!Live. To be able to know you'd have to be on your contacts computer..

umm that wasn't what i tried to say..

for example, when someone clicks on your nick, your contact card comes out. he/she download the dp there and stuffplug used to inform that..

i was looking for something like that..just when the contact downloads to temp directory..

Yeah, basically this Script will not be 100% accurate, but it's still good enough to satisfy some users.

I used to have MDX and Open Convo(plugin for Msg Plus!) before, but now I don't have either since I can't get MD Live working and no scripts are out there to replace the Open Convo plugin I had.

If someone woudl be kind enough to develop a script just for users who don't really care about accuracy and would like this feature.

more over, if script system can send some custom command to server, we can develop some script sending sms.
That's pretty cool
