Over the past couple of days i've tried downloading Messenger Plus Live, but after finishing downloading the file, it won't install but tells me the file isn't a valid win32 application. I'm currently using the newest version of Messenger, the version on the site, and am running windows xp service pack 1. I've tried saving as well as opening during the download. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am clicking on the file once downloaded (from msgpluslive.net) and it just gives me an "error" sound and won't open it at all....tried uninstalling everything...no change
i'm having this problem too. i'm running window's XP, and the latest version of WLM, but everytime i try to install it (yes i have downloaded it from this site!) it says it's not a valid something file (like the top post) and that i dont have the right security certificate to allow it to run. i can take a screen shot of the error if anyone wants.
Clear cache and redownload from the official site or download from my site here (on download choose Local) then try installing again.
Also you need to be on an account with admin priviledges to install.
P.S. I decided to permanently mirror Plus! (Plus!3 and Plus!Live) on my site...you can find it in the DB on files page...on download you will get the choice to get it from Main Server (Plus! site) or from Local (local is the zip file i host).

I'm having the same problem...except I also tried downloading it from Sunshine's site and got an error something along the lines of 'invalid or corrupt file.'
