For the new Messenger Plus Live!, I have a little advice on it...
After installation, there will be a little plus icon on the main window of WLM,
which can offer some quick link to MPL's function.
It will be a great help for users which hide the menu bar.
But it will be great to have a link of "Events Viewer" at the icon,
I think it is just a piece of cake for you, but it will be a great help for those who hide the menu!

It was considered, but Patchou did not want it. It may have something to do with the amount of users that used the feature .

That's a pitty. I was used to it in the previous versions of Plus! However, it is still easy to get the Event Viewer from the "main" Plus! menu

Me too!! I love Events Viewer and I also hide the menu so it's veeery unconfortable geting Plus! menu Please, get it back to the Plus! icon on the upper panel!!!

Edit: Yeah, I register just to say it, that's how much I miss that feature!!

After using Messenger Plus! Live now for a while, the following idea came up to my mind: maybe it is possible to implement the "minimize" option for the Event Viewer windows? In this way I don't even need the option back to the Plus! icon . I'd just leave the window open and minimize it to the taskbar when I don't want it to cover my desktop background .

I guess it would not be difficult to implement this little option. In fact, for some windows in Messenger Plus! Live - like e.g. the Preferences window - it is already possible .

Any opinions on this?

here's an idea...

the plus icon menu on the contact list should have a fully customizable section, where in preferences you could like check off which items out of a list you would like to have displayed in the plus icon menu. obviously one of these items would be the event viewer
