WLM was working fine initially when I had MP!L installed, but just recently whenever I tried to start it, it would fault. (Or, in normal-people terms, cause what was known in 9x days as an "illegal operation)  This interestingly happened after I installed Google Desktop. (Hopefully other GD users can confirm this problem)

I had to uninstall MP!L to get WLM working again, and the reports from each fault showed that it was an MP!L file that caused the fault.  Is there any possible way for me to fix this?

I'm having the exact same problem.  Except I don't use Google Desktop. 

by any chance did you have any scripts or anyhting else insstalled into WLM8? like Mess patch or the other?

Nope, I had just installed WLM and hadn't put any scripts on it before installing WL!P

what Google Desktop Version are u using?

i cant repro this at all with GD4

Oddly enough I'm using GD4, too.

I might try reinstalling sometime to see whether or not it happens again.

try this.. uninstall MPL an WLM an reboot the PC an then reinstall both
