O.P. problem with canging a contact person's name

messenger plus! allows you to change your contact persons names (your friends). for some reason, it wont open the option (after selecting "change name..." on the plus! option...) please help me!!!! why it wont let me?

What version of Messenger Plus! and MSN Messenger are you using?

Live messenger already has contact nicknames built in
Msn Messenger used MsgPlus! to have custom usernames
