Hi,

I have tried several searches on the forum, but came back with nothing, so I am making this post.

I have lost a contact that I am desperately trying to get hold of.

all I can remember is Chris's first name, he lives in London somewhere.

his MSN name is something like Kouris Korisiu or similar,

I know this might sound ob surd, but somehow we lost touch, and we have a family member who is terminal, and Chris was very close to them, which is why I have embarked on this very frustrating quest.

I did have him on one of my MSN 7.0 contact lists, but I don't know if I can access this list as I am now using the latest version of Live Messenger.

I am totally beside myself with frustration, I have tried asking Microsoft via their MSN and Live support sites, but all I get back are suggestions to contact each other, IE Live tell me to contact MSN, and MSN tell me to contact Live !"

I really appreciate ANY suggestions or ideas that anyone has to offer me.

PS I remember in MSN we used to be able to search for users / add a user by their contact name, that way you could try and find them, but Live just seems to want to add someone you know already, it just won't let you Search for a contact not in your list already!

The contact your looking for is either on your allow list, or your block list.

Tools > Options > Privacy

Here you can see the allow list and block list. Fingers crossed, they should be in there somewhere. If you hover over a contact on the list, you can see it's e-mail address.

Let me know if he was there.

And if he hasn't deleted you, also on your Reverse List, also in Tools > Options > Privacy (it's a button).

Hi both,

thank you both for taking the time to contact me about this.

I don't know what has happened, but somehow he actualy got deleted from my list.

but, I managed to find one of my older back-up CD's, and he was on an older list, so I have managed to import that list and get him back again.
