Well I know there has been a problem with 4.01 and when I did log in there was no contacts, this is the same for everyone and I know you can't be certain yet but once the probelm is fixed will we get our contacts back the same as before or will we have to add them again???

No... that is not a problem with 4.01.... this is a problem with WLM itself..... I have no clue if you'll get your contacts back really... WLM's servers are having troubles or something cause there's been ALOT of bugs and errors happening in the past couple days.

I say again, this has nothing to do with MsgPlus! Live v. 4.01

Proof= My contacts/everything else still works fine with the latest versions of MP!L and WLM.... with A-Patch applied.

Yeah, I've had so many popups, "Connection Error"..

Maybe MS should get some better servers.

But I have my lsit.

The strange thing is with me I have had no popups just after 10 min of signing in it asks for new contacts but it can't be helped these things happen.

I very strongly suggest to read them, they answer your question.

Yes you will get your contacts back as the list you see (or rather not see) is a cached list used as long as the connection can't be properly established, as explained in many threads about this....

Please do not make multiple threads about this (and in the wrong forums)

To others, if you see such duplicated threads, PLEASE do not continue them, rather link to the existing ones and REPORT the thread for closure (or even better and if possible to merge to the existing one).
