Hi all,

The subject explains it all.

If this command has been removed (which I think would be very stupid), then is there a script to do the same effect?

If there isn't one, are there any certain script commands that could achieve this? I suppose I could just write a script to close the window and re-open it, but that seems a bit over-the-top for a simple clear.

It's gone. There was some difficulties with making it work.

And there is no current script for that task

Ok, thanks for confirming. I couldn't seem to find any topics on this at all, although I did search rather quickly.

I'll take a look into writing a script and see what I can achieve. I think I'll just close and open the window again. Might be more troublesome, but it'd be easier to have a command to do it rather than doing it manually (like I do at the moment if I want to clear).

if you want to clear it just hold down shift and enter so it clears it

yeah, then you said it to your contact also and he asks what the f*** you were doing...

Oh cool! Thanks for the info Patchou.

Shame I didn't read this before I wrote a script to do it. Hopefully you'll be able to improve upon it, though.

My script simply closes the window and then re-opens it. If anyone would actually be interested in that, just say and I'll upload it.

I just thought that it wouldn't solve the problem if you have Messenger set to show you the previous messages when you open a window, but it will work for those who hasn't. I find it quite handy already
