O.P. [request] disable auto replace text-by-emoticon
is there a way a script could make sure that the text you type won't be replaced automatically by an emoticon ?

in the type field that is, it should be replaced in the actual conversation but not while typing

stuffplug 2 did that earlier but stuffplug ain't working anymore and i didn't see this feature in a beta review

In this aspect scripts are less powerful then plugins as this technically cannot be done. Stuffplug 3 is being worked on and will be a standalone app so just check out http://stuffplug.com for more info.

Can't you put /noicon in front of messages? Although for that I think the other contact might have to have Messenger Plus! Live...

he still wants emoticons, he just doesn't want them to appear as you type.
