You may have declared the encoding as UTF-16, but is your editor actually saving in that encoding?

If i have this:

And is hij have text in a var like this:

how can i set it in that StupidTextbox?

So my questions are:
How can i disable StupidTextBox?
How can i set a var from a script in StupidTextBox?
