Thanks this answers my question regarding sending what i typed but what i was actually looking for was the quoter that send back the message that was sent to me ie

"Chris4 says this may help"  i found this helpful when i accidently closed my chat window as soon as i got a new message, instead of going through the chat logs to see what the person said to me i just used the quote feature and read what they wrote.  Any inside on this?
