hey

suddenly remote assistance doesnt work at all
nothing opens when i accept invitations (i dont want to send invitations, just accept)

i have windows messenger installed
i have remote assistance enabled in control panel
i run wlm with msgplus

Last time i tried helping someone with remote assitance their system crashed, i don't like the remote assistance thing. :\

(and yes i was using it properly)

Now, do you get any error messages?
Do you actauly receive the message that asks you if you want to except?

i recieve a msg saying do i accept
i click accept, nothin happens
no errors, nothing

i checked firewall and its not blocking it

it can take a while to get into it sometimes. it mainly depends were you and your friend are from(i think) if you and ur friend are pretty close to each other(in distance) it should b quick but if you are FAR FAR away from each other it takes some time connecting i think

we live close
and it doesnt open at all

ive done remote assistance with a dude in the bahamas, im in the uk.... didnt take long at all
