Hi everybody,

Here is my problem with Windows Live! Messenger 8.0.0792.00 :

- You all know about this option called "Add Nickname" that allows you to replace the original nickname by a chosen one. The problem is that I don't want it to be replaced ! I just want it to be added. That was possible in MSN 7. For example if the original nickname is "X" and the nickname you want is "Y", your contact will be just shown as "Y - X". Is there any way to do so on WLM ?

- Supposig it's not possible, can I have just the nickname I chose for the contact in my conyact list ( ok, that's possible, no problem ), but in the conversation window, the top bar ( where the nickname is shown ) the origial nickname ?

First of all Patchou has been having some trouble with the "WLM custom nicknames" feature. This has been reported before and he is aware of this. If the WLM custom nickname feature is not improved he will bring back the custom nicknames feature into Messenger Plus! Live. Untill then you will just have to wait.
