RC1 is supposed to arrive by Sept 7th, so i would think it's kinda pointless...

arnt beta's buggy i was going to get it after a long think i decided not to just in case its very buggy and start messing my computer

Beta means that it hasn't been tested thoroughly, and there probably are still bugs and glitches which should be fixed. Microsoft says to only install this on a test system, but some people risk using it on thier main (sometimes only) PC.
