i downloaded hopper live and installed it but it just says it failed to start how do i fix it?

Open up the main contact list window for Windows Live Messenger, and go to the Plus! Preferences, Plus! > Preferences, now go to Scripts and press on "Hopper Live" and remove.

Now go to http://www.msgpluslive.net/scripts/browse/index.php and download Hopper Live, make sure you save the file, not just run it. Then start up Windows Live Messenger and install the file as usual.

yeah i did that i downloaded it saved it in the file i save all my wlm plus scripts and it just says falied to start

It doesn't matter how properly you go about it, sometimes files just don't download correctly andyou need to re-download them.  I for one have had to re-download files before.

also i couldn't find the file on the link above i used the one from this post

nup i downloaded the script again unzipped it reimported it (removed it first) still nothing.(well i do get the error)

Well xen0h, would you help me track down the possible cause for the failure in starting?

1. Remove HopperLive
2. Check "Enable debugging options" in Plus! Preferences General section Scripts Panel and click OK
3. In Messenger contact list, click Plus! menu (the main menu, not the "icon" menu) and check Show Script Debugging, so that the Script Debugger window shows
4. Import HopperLive again
5. As the "The script fails to stop" messagebox shows, switch to Script Debugger window, select "HopperLive" in the Script drop-down list, and tell me what's in the textbox below.

i tick the debug box and it just closes the window it doesn't give me the option to debug then i reimported it and it said it failed to start like before but then i checked it and it said running i found the commands and it just didn't reconize them.

That option will appear only if you tick the enable debugging check box that Munjul told .
