Shoutbox

Hi, i have a problem with my  WLMD (windows live mail desktop) beta. When i open it up to read an e-mail, it says it cannot connect to my online inbox, so i cannot read new e-mails i may have. It's terribly annoying, since i got it so i dont have to use the e-mail inbox and stuff on a webpage, but now thats what i have to do anyway

Please help me somebody..


EDIT!!! ITS FIXED!!

is your email settings all correct?
are any firewalls blocking it?

try looking at your account settings

How do i do that?? i've looked everywhere for them, i can't find them..

does anyone else find when they check their messages in windows live mail desktop, that it doesnt remove the "new mail" in windows live messenger?

for example i notice in windows live messenger that i have new email, so  i click the button and it loads WLMD, i read/delete the mail, and windows live mail still says i have a new email

ive noticed that problem and it still says i havnt read them so i gotta go >www.hotmail.com< there just to make wlm think ive read my mail
a bug that needs to be fixed

Make sure that the mail desktop is set as the defult mail client..

If not, send feedback on the mail desktop beta and tell them about the problem.

Well, no you don't , u can just put up with it and inside your head you know you red that email. windows allways have bugs, linux hardly ever have as many bugs as windows do.
