Does version 4.01.0.240 for Windows Live Version 8.0 have the option of turning on those little blue pop-ups in the corner whenever someone goes offline or changes their name? If so, how do I activate it? It's really convenient, and I've gotten really used to it hahaha.

I know for sure an older version of Messenger Plus! had it for the regular MSN.

You can use notifications, Plus>Preferences>Customize!>Event Notifications>Add.. and just select the contacts and the actions.

Go to Plus > Prefrences > Customise > Event notification and add it.

In the contact list, go to Plus! > Preferences > Customize! > Event Notifications. Press "Add..." in the dropdown box press "Notify for all contacts", then press next and follow the easy-to-use wizard.

Sorry to threadjack here, but I was wondering if there is any documentation on the options for "Display a custom message" on this event.

The default WM pop-up for sign in shows the Nickname from the contact list, but the MPL pop-up shows the user name.  Is there a variable or piece of magic text I can use in a custom message to override this so that the sign out shows the Nickname too?
