hi all:
I want to view the chat logs generated by old Messenger Plus version.

the chat logs is in dir : my documents\my msn chat logs
the file is named by a prefix "hd" and the extension is .dat
for example: HD20030401.dat.

I use a texteditor to open the dat file,but it seems a binary file.

how to view the chat logs?

the chat log is very important to me

.dat files are NOT plus! logs

.txt if I'm not mistaken are the old chat logs

so why your opening a .dat file is beyond my comprehension
