Just wondering, can we have something like "Report Statistics"?
It could say things like how many posts you have reported, top 10 reporters etc.

I asked this long time ago in the shoutbox, and wdz said that the reports are kept into the DB, so, it shouldn't be hard to do it...


So, what do you think?

why?  useless stats.

Wouldnt be a bad statistic

Sorry, but I don't want to make a stats page for reports.

- It doesn't matter who has the most reports, and useless/duplicate reports will waste our time.

- Reports are a private matter anyway... between the reporters and the staff members.

i got another member having a go at me because of a report i made about him... he even copy and pasted the report i sent to staff members....

Well, I consider them private, especially when they're likely to cause a conflict like that. Dunno about the other mods... ¬¬

Reporter statistics would be a bad idea, people would try and boost their rankings by reporting stuff which doesn't need reporting.

I agree that this is a horrible idea.

What about only showing how many posts you have reported?

Then it will become a competition (always does, look at the early days of the reputation system)

Theoretically reports are private though that falls in the realm of moderator discretion on a report to report basis.

We really do not have any need for Report Statistics. Just keep reporting when needed and we'll keep moderating as needed.
