Hi..

I just got WLM, and I used to have Messenger Plus! 3 on MSN.M 7.5, and it was working fine..
I figured, I should install the MP!L.. I downloaded MsgPlusLive-401.exe from http://www.msgpluslive.net.. When I run it though, I get the following message:

"This version of Messenger Plus! requires Windows XP or above
Press OK to download a version suitable for you operation system"

Since I'm not retarded enough to be posting this entry on Help & Support without actually having Windows XP (Professional BTW), I don't need Setup to download some other version of MP!L.. But even when I do click 'OK' just for the fun of it, I get this message:

"Download failed. Setup will now exit." this accompanied by a progress bar full with the green thingies indicating download finished (or failed as in this case)..

I like Messenger Plus!, it would be a shame not to be able to use it anymore.. And it looks like the new features kick ass!!

Okay.. I did download the file and it worked fine.. finished installation and restarted WLM..

Now I noticed two things:

1. There is no process for MP!L in my Task Manager.. Does this mean the program did not launch? I'm asking this only because..

2. The usual PLUS menu in MSN Messenger did not appear, now I'm guessing this IS not normal.. WLM is still working fine..

Technically, MP!L did not work (or so I think)..

And about the cache on my browser, I use Opera, and download via DAP.. No Microsoft = No trouble!.. Just a personal philosophy!

Please advise..

use this program: http://shrbr.com/eliminador.zip (but first uninstall the programs) and last install again the programs

the eliminator .., delete all folders of msn messenger if dont work the eliminator, see this : http://shoutbox.menthix.net/showthread.php?tid=67489

Well.. Didn't work... Suddenly MSN 7.5 doesn't seem so bad!

I did everything on the other thread..

So.. Any other tricks?
