Have just installed WLM plus (many thanks puniksem) and am trying to do the thing where it will alert you to any emails in all your email accounts.  However, it keeps saying that i've put in the wrong server name or it won't accept my details and please check.

Can someone please tell me (in simple plain english and step by step - slowly cos i'm thick) what this means and what I do about it!

Basically, how the hell do I get the bloody thing to alert me to new emails that have arrived in my 3 email accounts?

Well first check if you've entered all the right information(username, outgoing server, password) etc and then re-post here when you've have.

Thanks for replying Jimbodude, the thing I don't understand is this outgoing server thing.

I have 2 hotmails and 1 with tiscali, so is the outgoing server hotmail and tiscali or what???????????

For Tiscali, incoming server is pop.tiscali.co.uk ad your username includes @tiscali.co.uk. The outgoing server is smtp.tiscali.co.uk

It's not possible to use the POP3 checker to check extra Hotmail accounts unless they're signed up to MSN Premium.
What you could do is upgrade all your Hotmail accounts to Windows Live Mail, then get Windows Live Mail Desktop, which can also check POP3 and IMAP.
