just wondering if nebody out there noes this. WHen i signin to messenger i have to put in my personal message every time ( yes my windows media player button is checked, and the other one under tools is unchecked too) it never stays there when i signin and out...thx for ne help

Tools > Options > Security

Uncheck "This is a shared computer so don't..."

Also, ZoneAlarm can cause this problem.

Was just about to post the same problem !

I don't have Zonealarm, I have Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 !

Any suggestions?

Solved already...since no one was generous enough to post anything.

Solved by FORMATTING MY ENTIRE PC, since this looks like the only solution anyways...now WLM works fine with PSM remaining after re-sign in.

Excuse me, people would have helped if they could. There just are too many variables to randomly suggest things!

Reformatting is never the only way to fix anything...

i dont understand very well, but the personal message sometimes dont save and you have to put again.
Is like a bug, or maybe a server problem..
