I see you have Messenger Discovery. It has this feature. In settings go to Instant Messages and configure my name in chat is. You will not see the change but your contacts will .

Indeed, as Felu said, Messenger Discovery can do that for your contacts.

IIRC, StuffPlug also used to have this feature, but you yourself could see the changes too (not too sure about this)
Too bad the new version is taking so long to release

really i did not know that was thinkin tho someone can do one for Messenger Plus live so u can see the name u put lol u know what i mean
