On my Windows Live Messenger (and the previous MSN Messenger v7.5), my email button and al lthe shortcuts that are supposed to open an instance of Internet Explorer don't work anymore.
Has anyone had the same problem and if so, is there a fix for this?

RE: Buttons / Shortcuts / Links don't work...
Have you tried removing Internet Exlorer at any time? If so, put it back: removing it can cause large sections of Windows to break. If not, then I don't know: I'll see if I can think of anything.
Thanks for your reply, I haven't tried removing Internet Explorer at anytime - I hardly ever use it though, as Firefox is what I mainly use. I haven't set Firefox to my default browser either. I am running Internet Explorer 6.
I have several other computers, but only on this particular one has this problem occured.
I've had this problem when I ticked (enabled) the opition to "open links (or something similar) on my defaut bronser program" on StuffPlug (2)... Maybe with you ocurred the same...
Edit: Maybe not the program, but the ("same") opition ticked on another add-on that you maybe have... Just take a look

Thanks for the reply, but I'm nowhere near any closer to finding a solution for this problem.
I don't have any addons for Windows Live Messenger - it's a deafult install and I haven't changed anything of note. I've just gone back to check the defaults on Firefox and it is not set as the default browser. I'm not sure how to set IE as the default, although it should be already.
The good news is that the shortcut links are now working again. The bad news is that I have no idea why it suddenly started to work again. I haven't done anything to alter the settings, it's just that today, I got a popup saying that I had received an email and I instinctively clicked on it and then an IE window popped up and then it suddenyl clicked that it was working?
I know it doesn't seem to make any sense and that I must have done something, but I really can't put my finger on what.
