one last time, read and follow my advise. Again, if you do what I told you to do you are able to reset and/or change your .NET passport (aka Windows Live ID) which is used in Messenger.

And even if you format everything, you can _still_ do as I told you _after_ the format. You do not need to retrieve the password before you format.

In other words, using messenger or not, or formatting or not have got no influence on the method I described.

again, I never said retrieving a password is by definition illegal.

Sorry, but it seems I'm not the one who has trouble reading a post.

All you need is your email....

If you change your password you will no longer be able to use your old password..

Nobody is going to post a link to such a program, because it's not allowed on this forum. If that's all you want, then I might as well close this thread. :-/

well, if there is any other way i can get my password than through a program i would like to know as well. but hence what i have written earlier i can not use the other described way.

btw, why is it not allowed to post such a link in this forum? there is absolutely nothing illegal about it.

It's illegal because the program is concidered as hacking tool, that is not allowed on forum rules:

Edit: Just making a little correction here -> If it's not a hack tool, someone (not you) can use it and trasforme it into one.. remember that the forum is public for members or nom-member of all the world.

Anyway...
If it's not possible to make Cookie's idea, because of don't remembering the secret answer and other problems, how about making a new account?
Maybe it's easyer than trying to find a such program...
;)

Edit: Just trying to help...

RE: Windows Live Messenger Login Info - How to transfer saved Login information?
summermuggy,

for the last time... If you follow the advise I gave you you will be able to reset or change your password. Again, millions of other people have done these steps in the past. All you need to have, as Dazmatic said, is an internet connection. And you clearly have that since you're posting here...

There is absolutely nothing unique in your situation compared to all those others millions of people who lost their password, got their account hacked, or whatever else might have happened. The method I gave you _is_ the method to retrieve your password in any situation. Even if you don't know the answer to your secret questions anymore, there are _still_ ways of resetting/changing your password... provided you _do_ follow my advise instead of being stuburn and trying to give reasons why it shouldn't work.

Again, the method I described is the method which is geven to anyone who has troubles with retrieving a password in any situation.

follow the advise given and read the links/text which will be presented to you when you actually visit/try that link I gave.

I explained this in several posts already.

Oh, and if you actually posted a link to this thread in "How to report users?" I'm sure many people will agree with me. Also how do you come to the idea that someone already has reported me?
