Hey, Umm firstly Plus Is the best thing ever. And i have recently installed the new Plus! but the only problem is when ever i open my internet up or fire fox i keep getting this annoying pop-up asking me to get a free mobile ringtone. And its just annoying. After i have done a system restore and Plus is gone the problem doen'st exsist anymore? help plz.

By the sounds of it you installed the optional sponsor program.  The best method of removing this is through control panel > add/remove programs.  I hope this helps and you continue enjoying plus!

Has anyone had the same problem though? And is it wise to have the optional sponser program???

you dont have to have the optional sponsor program... it is just make ads and that you dont need to install it.... it wont run MP!L better

I don't have the same problem because I choose not to install the sponsor program. However, the sponsor program has been heavily modified so maybe it might not make a difference if you have it or not, however if it is annoying, removing it would be the best option

All you need to do is when uninstalling MessengerPlus! Live choose to only uninstall the optional sponsor program and everything will be back to normal (and MessengerPlus! Live will continue to work too.
