Nothings worked. I had msplus, then one day its gone. Off my computer, and no traces of it. so i download again, its working for a few minues, then next time i restart my computer its gone.

Install on an account with admin priviledges and/or make sure there is no program running preventing writing in the registry whilst installing (incase of doubt: boot into safemode and choose the account called "administrator").

Im already on the admin account. I had this problem even before i formated the hdd. I tried safe mode with networking. Now plus exits the next time i exit wlm!!!! Sorry sunshine

Have you got any programs running that "kill" "unneeded" processes? Sounds weird because Plus!Live hooks into WLM differently than Plus!3 hooks into MSNM but still....a program doesn't dissapear on its own. You could check if the folder still exists...

Its not the only think that gets terminated, I think norton also gets termanated, if thats the case i have a trojan.

Alrighty then, get that sorted! Disable sysrestore (will delete all restore points too), then do a scan in safemode. If Norton has gone you might try AVERT Stinger before you reinstall Norton again.

IM one step ahead of you already, but i have norton 2002, and it phails on everything, so im doing a system restore ; and what is that avert stinger?

A sysrestore might not be enough, the trojan/virus could already be in those too (or in memory).

I think you should consider another AV program like f.e. Free Avast! 4 Home Edition.

Did you install SweetIM? Remove it. About 4-5 people on IRC reported the same and it was SweetIM which was causing it ;<. Patchou needs to work on a compatible version .
