Hi everyone...

I'm using Windows Vista (RTM version) since a few weeks ago and I have a little problem with WLM and Plus! I don't know if this problem has already been reported (if it has, I apologise)... so here we go:

In fact, it's simple. 90% of the time, I have not sound or visual (in taskbar) notifications when somebody talks to me. A friend of me told me that the problem happens because I have activated the tabbed chats feature and there is some compatibility problems with Vista. So I need to check regularly my conversations to see if someone is talking to me.

There is a way to resolve that?

First of al you shouldnt be using that, Unless you are a Beta Teter.

Try Reinstalling Plus! , if that dont work, try disabling Tabbed Chats.

Just Plus! or Plus! and WLM?
I hope I'll dont need to disable tabbed chats.

It used to happen to me
But since i got WLM 8.1 i disabled tabbed chats

Oh I see...

Damned... using WLM without this feature is too hard

You might want to have this script, though it might not help with the sound problem, but visually you can still see whether the contact is still chating with you while having tab function enabled.
I'm not sure whether this script will work fine in Windows Vista RTM. I tested with RC2 and it works, so far no problem found yet.

Hmm... not exactly.

Ok, one part of the problem is resolved. I have now sound notifications again!  In fact, I used a customized sound for incoming messages (the 7.5 sound) and I have problems to listen him in Vista. So I put the original sound again and it works.

But I still have no visual notifications.

This kind of bug in Vista will be fixed early next year
