O.P. Roll Eyes  "page cannot be displayed" problem
I just come back from my friends house (i went there to set him up a email account) and i had a problem; "the page cannot be displayed" :-/
He is using:

AOL wireless broadband (the stuff you have to connect to every time)
a new laptop (can't remember make)
AOl explorer (()allthough the same problem happens in IE6)

Basically, it will connect to some pages, but most of them wont work :-/ I tried connecting him to MSN explorer, Windows messenger, and many more.. but it still says "check if you are connect to the internet" which i know we are, but it just says it :P

So, any idea on how to fix this? i wont be going back untill tomorrow, but any ideas i will try out there.
Also any questions about my question please ask.

What e-mail are you using? hotmail, gmail, live?

Does it work at your house? if it does sign it up at yours.

And also tell him to move to another ISP, AOL suck.

Yes it works at mine, but the thing is, none of the msn/web messenger pages will load, which means i cant get messenger, or web messenger!

Can you ping any of the websites that don't work?  Please post the results and/or the error that it gives.  (To ping a site, go to Start > Run > Type "cmd" and press enter > Type "ping hotmail.com" or whatever)

Also, try accessing the site by the IP
http://64.4.33.7/ < That's for hotmail.
