does a x box 360 need a memory card even if it has the harddrive with it aswell.... cuz my bro got one for crimbo and my mum got him the "fully loaded one" with the harddrive and stuff... i think u can store game memory onto the hardrive but does any1 actually know for sure... cuz i wanna buy him a memory card for chrimbo.

That would pretty much entirely get rid of the point of having the HDD

When saving you get the option of where to store the saves (hard drive or Memory Unit if you have one).

The idea of a memory card is to swap save files to a different box (IMO) so that you can give a save to a friend

Saves are just for specific xbox profiles so unless it transfers the whole profile, i don't think that would work.

And no, you definately don't need a memory card if you have the HDD.
