IMofffline


Whether you interpret the name as Instant Message from offline or "I'm offline", this script still has the same function: protecting you from accidental use of the new offline instant messaging features introduced in Windows Live Messenger 8.

IMoffline asks you to confirm sending an instant message if your status is set to appear offline.

It is designed to remind people who sign in with the status appear offline that they are still appearing offline, and to remind people that whilst appearing offline any contact they send a message to will know that they are actually online.

This is a good idea, but (I haven't checked this yet) IMO it shouldn't ask for EVERY message you send... Maybe just once per contact per "session"?

Theres an option for that under the plus icon > imoffline .

the andyman, GREAT idea. How hard would it be to let user specify the status that they need reminder for.

So this code can be used to remind the user if they are Busy/Idle/Away /etc (depends on what the user sets).

Not sure if I made myself clear.

This would be very possible and certainly an option I will consider in the future (i.e. yes I will add it but it may take a while before it is added as I am quite busy atm).

This script is awsome  GREAT work andyman i think this script should already be built in messenger plus!
