If that's an XBox 360 controller, I don't know.
Its an MS Sidewinder, and is not an Xbox 360 controller, but a PC controller (with Gameport) as far as I can tell.... In other words, yes, it already is for a PC

However, in the olden days when USB was just starting to appear, my Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pro came with a short cable which converted the gameport to a USB 1.1 connection. No additional software was required, and under XP no software is required at all.
The connector itself on the cable contains some electronics (not much, but it still does) to convert the signal.

I have a funny feeling that finding one of these adaptors may be quite hard these days... I saw one on Maplin, but it didn't support 8 buttons or force-feedback or anything...
I have the same feeling though, I don't doubt it still exist though... somewhere... in an online shop in a dark corner of the net
I believe I'll be heading to gamestop and buying a logitech gamepad for around $20.... I would get an Xbox 360 controller, but i'm about $10 away from it, unemployed, and want my controller now

None in stock locally (within 15 miles)
I'll just wait until I come across one to actually worry about it.
I'll just play Gears of War on Xbox Live and live with that. (my controllers are wireless for my 360 f.y.i)
