hi helper, i have some problem with my MSN this days.

my version is:

Windows XP Service Pack 2 (5.1.2600)
Windows Live Messenger 8.00.0812
Messenger Plus! Live 4.11.0.254

problem:

over this days, i try to add other user to my list. It just have XXXX@hotmail.com in my list with offline as my friend told me he was online. so i asked him to added me to his list, so he did and my hotmail was online in his list but in my list, it was offline.

is like i cant received any request from others who have added me AND when i added them, they cant recive my request.

thing done before asking:

i have re-install my msn as well as msn life plus

This sounds like the contacts problem most users were seeing before...so have a read of CookieRevised's Solution to Contact's Problem and then if that doesn't help, then we will see what can be done.

Delete you handshaking policy cache:

   1. Exit Messenger completely (this means right clicking the Messenger tray icon and choosing Exit).

   2. Open your registry editor (Start > Run > regedit.exe) and navigate to:

okay i have done this steps, qustion,

before i have posted this question, i loggin to my old msn and get a number of request from people who wanna add me. I click "ok" to add them to my od msn, will i get back those request again after i doing those step above or will the list auto added to my new msn live plus?

will those on my list that i added which is offline, will it send the request again if they did not get it? and both party we added, my list will show them online after i do those step?
