Well basically, me and my sister both bought Counter strike source the other day but when we go on the same server to face eachother when one of us dies, the other one gets "Temporalily blinded for ghosting on the same IP as anotehr person". Anyone know whatr this means and how one of us can get a new ip or a changing ip so that this stops?

That's because you are using the same Internet Ip Address. Not much to do about it...

You can't change that address cause that is the address given out by your isp, and usually you can only get one address.

It can't be stopped, its done by plugin on the server called Mani Admin Plugin (as far as i remember)

Ghosting on same IP.

You's share your internet connection probably using a router. you go out on the web using same IP address as you only have one internet connection.

Your blinded because some wonderful people tend to game together on same connection and when one dies the other can look at his screen and see were the enemies are.


Althou if the guys aren't on same IP and they are using teamspeak/ventrilo voice servers they can still just tell people were the others are.

He meant playing on the network, meaning only you two would be on the server and one of you would be hosting it. But it's not fun playing 1v1.
