when im talkign to one of my friends, and they use their messenger lock shortcut to hide their msn.. it ends up freezing my msn so that i have to exit the frozen program and have to log in on the Windows Messenger (old messenger) so that i wont get kicked off everytime my friend uses this feature

ive tried reinstaling windows live messenger/msg plus several times, but doesnt help sometimes when they msg lock, nothing on my msn is affected but all too often my msn freezes and i have to shut down

can somebody plz help me with this??

Are you using 8.1 Beta?

nope, im using the regular Windows Live Messenger (version 8) and the most recent version of Msg Plus Live

try it with 8.1 from http://ideas.live.com

also are you running anything else apart from windows live messenger and messenger plus! live (e.g mess patch, sweetim)?

no i only have windows live messenger and msg plus live installed, nothing else

im afraid that if i download a beta version of messenger, the problem wll become even worse

if it does, we can always work something out fairly quickly
