O.P. deleting messenging-names
I too have messenging-names which has taken over my msn..its not in add/delete programs, have done all the clean ups possible and have tried to contact them to no avail....any tips on how to get rid of this annoying proram would be gratefully appreciated.

Wich Messenger version are you using?
Get rid of wich program: Messenger, Plus!, Plus! script?

I'm using windows live messenger. every time I try to message some one on it this comes up....'Keith says i get my names from messaging-names try it'...try to instant message someone else and the same message appears constantly

I see what he means.
Its the adware/spyware sort-of stuff that you get from Block Checkers.
Sort of like an incontrollable auto-message.
Resolution? I dont know.
What 'clean-ups' have you done? All isn't very specific, as 'all' for me may be different for your 'all'.

I've actually got rid off what I thought was the file im-names (using spybot) and messaging-names (manually) they're definately not to be seen anymore, back on messenger, instant messaged and still 'get you free names at www.messaging-names.com' automatically appears???????

It's probably edited a registry setting. Grab a registry cleaner, many online, and delete all MSN's registry settings and re-install Messenger.
